Debbie Warburton

FCCA Director

I left school in 1988 and started an apprenticeship in a small accountancy firm in Liverpool, training as an accountant and qualifying with the AAT qualification in 1992. I moved out of Liverpool and carried on my ACCA training with a firm of accountants in St Helens, qualifying with the ACCA in 2001.

I have worked for a number of large firms in the Northwest, Haslam Tunstall in Knutsford and finally Mitten Clarke an award-winning practice in Stoke on Trent before moving down to Cornwall in 2008 to be nearer my family who had moved here in 1989.

Accountancy is a passion for me. I enjoy helping businesses and individuals achieve success in both the short and long term. My work ethic is to treat people the way I would like to be treated myself so we reply to phone calls and emails the same day if possible. If we don’t know the answer to your question we will tell you that and get back to you as soon as we do have an answer.

Out of work I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children. I enjoy gardening, baking, reading and working out in the gym.

Emma Stephens

AAT Accountant
I am a qualified AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) professional, having completed my qualification through an apprenticeship in my 40s—a journey that reflects my dedication to learning and career development. I bring reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to my work. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy watching rugby, reading, and spending quality time with my friends and family.

Lisa Burley

AAT Accountant
After building life experience and resilience through my 20s and 30s, I embraced a bold new chapter in my 40s—becoming an accountant. It was a rewarding reminder that proved it's never too late to pursue a new path.

Today, I balance my professional life with the things I love most: the joy of being a grandparent, meaningful travel adventures with Matthew, and quiet moments that remind me how far I’ve come. My family and grandchildren bring laughter and light into my life, and I cherish the time I get to spend with them. Whether I’m working with numbers or soaking up the little joys of daily life, I’m living proof that purpose and happiness can flourish at any age.

Harry Reynolds

Receptionist / Admin Assistant

I’m an administrator with a knack for problem-solving and streamlining processes. My journey in administration began with a one-year apprenticeship in business administration, where I got hands-on experience in everything from managing schedules to coordinating teams. Since then, I’ve transitioned into a full-time admin role, and I’m excited to continue learning and improving efficiency in every part of the business.
